Rory Gibson is a husband, father, business owner, recruitment consultant and “wannabe” sportsman. After seeing a bit of the world and starting a career as a carefree young professional in London he moved back to his northern roots to settle down and open a recruitment business. His ethos is about getting the most out of every experience and this is the foundation that Gibson Hollyhomes Recruitment is built on. He likes to be treated fairly and believes that the qualities of trust and honesty are the key to professional success. None of these qualities appear to have helped him reach his personal goals of winning an Olympic medal, bringing up two well behaved children and running a business that allows him to achieve his other favourite pastime….Pub time.

Founding Gibson Hollyhomes over 10 years ago has without a doubt been the highlight of my career within Recruitment. Over that time I have learnt that success in Recruitment is quite simply honesty with both candidates and clients alike and this is how we continue to grow and retain our business. Overseeing the Sales & Service Division is my key responsibility along with directly managing our larger call centre clients. I am very much at the heart of the business and work directly alongside the team day to day and wouldn’t have it any other way. My passions spread into my personal life in the form of Marathon running having completed many courses within the UK. I aim to run an international marathon when my two, young, needy but amazing daughters will let go of my legs for long enough.

Chris joined Gibson Hollyhomes in 2009 with a view to help the business grow and become a recognisable recruiter in Greater Manchester. Chris has played a part in Gibson Hollyhomes growth establishing clear service areas in Sales, Customer Service, Legal, Business Support and Temporary recruitment. Prior to working in recruitment Chris had worked in sales for some market leading companies in Manchester and as far afield as China.

Outside of work Chris primarily spends most of his time being bossed about by his little girl. Being a Manchester United fan he previously “enjoyed” watching his team find “success” year on year, however now he just watches them!

Hannah Gregg, Managing Consultant

Hannah has been with Gibson Hollyhomes since 2011 and works on the Legal Desk specialising in support recruitment throughout Manchester and the North West.

After graduating in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Central Lancashire University, Hannah decided to stay a northerner after working within online recruitment in Preston. She then moved to Manchester city centre to join Manchester United’s Executive Sales team, which subsequently led her to Gibson Hollyhomes in 2011, putting her back in the recruitment seat.

She is the regular quiz master for the office and has unique talent of speaking in range of different accents!

Clare started her career in Fashion Retail and after reaching her goal of Store Manager for some prestigious brands she decided it was time for a new challenge. Following on from this she went on to work in Sales/Client Care within the Medical Industry, retaining and expanding consumer profiles. Having thoroughly enjoyed all areas of her earlier career Clare identified the common link which was working with ‘people’ which led her to her post as Senior Recruitment Consultant here at Gibson Hollyhomes.
Four years on and she has never looked back… within her Recruitment Career she has been adaptable in recruiting for various sectors yet now focuses on the Insurance, Claims and Litigation market. She is a reliable, hardworking with a practical hands-on approach and always perseveres to achieve the best results. Clare is professional and personable but doesn’t take herself too seriously amongst friends!

Christian joined Gibson Hollyhomes at the beginning of 2012 having relocated from a small town by the name of Leek, shortly after graduating with a degree in English and History from the University of Manchester. From being an expert in farming equipment (despite not being a farmer) to trying to be an expert in Recruitment, Christian specialises in Accounts and Finance recruitment following a successful period in the Sales and Service team as well as the development of a Paralegal desk for Gibson Hollyhomes. Outside of work he plays both football and golf; however he is definitely a better spectator than player!

Fiona Taylor, Head Consultant of Temps Division

Fiona started her career in recruitment many years ago when she joined a large international Recruitment Company as a temp! She spent 14 years recruiting temporary and contract staff for many companies across Greater Manchester in her previous role where she progressed from Consultant to Temps Manager. Fiona joined Gibson Hollyhomes in February 2013 to set up the Temporary Division, and brings her experience and knowledge of temporary recruitment to the team specialising on the office support side including, PA/ Secretarial, Legal, Reception, Admin and much more….

In her spare time Fiona is a busy mum of 3, a master of multitasking and enjoys a well earned glass of wine at the end of a hectic week!

Alison Cassidy, Office Manager

Office Manager

Alison graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008 after which she worked as a Business Services Associate in the Private Healthcare sector. Her passion for adventure and travel led her across Asia, Australia and New Zealand for the last 3 years. Whilst exploring she stayed financially afloat by working on farms, in Outback pubs, helping to run a horse racing carnival, with customer service and PA work, and more significantly, within a recruitment company. On her return to England her experience as a temp in office support, administration and customer services led her to the team at Gibson Hollyhomes where she now works as Office Manager. Alison likes to socialise with friends and is presently rediscovering all her old University haunts.

Amy graduated from the University of York in 2011 with a degree in Archaeology. After realising a career as the next Indiana Jones wasn’t viable she moved into Finance and Sales Administration.  After a few years of looking after the sales team and staring at spreadsheets she wanted to take that career leap into the word of recruitment. Joining Gibson Hollyhomes in 2014, Amy has help build the Professional Services/Sales and Service desk recruiting for Secretarial, PA, Administration and Sales roles within the Leeds and Yorkshire area. Outside of work Amy switches high heels for walking boots and usually spends the weekends up a hill somewhere.

Sally joined the Leeds office of Gibson Hollyhomes in January 2016 with 11 years recruitment experience under her belt.
Sally has predominately focused on commercial recruitment within various sectors, focusing on both temporary and permanent roles. She fell into recruitment at the age of 18 whilst working as a waitress and has not looked back since. The bug had bitten her and she still continued as a consultant whilst studying her degree in English at The University of Leeds where she graduated from in 2010!
Out of the office Sally can be found walking her German shepherd or down the stables, swapping her suit for a pair of Jodhpurs!

Megan completed her GCSE’s in 2014 whilst working in the food industry. She decided to further her education by securing a position on an Apprenticeship Scheme in Business Administration. This led Megan to Gibson Hollyhomes where she gained an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and within 12 months to becoming Gibson Hollyhomes’ official Office Coordinator. Working in a busy recruitment office has ignited an interest in Megan working towards developing a career in recruitment by embarking on an NVQ Level 2 in Recruitment Resourcing. At the end of a busy week, she enjoys a lot of retail therapy and socialising with her family and friends.

After growing up in the countryside of Craigbane in Northern Ireland, Aoife swapped her quiet Country Life for a new and exciting city adventure in Leeds where she studied for a degree in Sport, Health and Nutrition. She soon realised that her degree was more of a hobby than a career and that she would need to seek her fame and fortune elsewhere. Her warm and enthusiastic nature and sheer competitiveness led her to embarking on a career in recruitment with Gibson Hollyhomes. Outside of work Aoife enjoys playing Gaelic Football and visiting her family in Ireland whenever she can.

Craig has over 5 years of experience in recruitment, working from both Manchester and London and covering the UK and EMEA.
Craig has predominately focused on sales and client facing roles across a number of different verticals and industries and has joined Gibson Hollyhomes to help grow the Finance and Accountancy desk.
Outside of work Craig is an avid music and football fan and supports his home team Burnley FC, the darlings of the Premier League.

Jessica graduated from the University of Leeds in 2016 with a degree in Psychology. Even though she enjoyed her degree, like the majority of people on the course, she decided to move on to something completely different.
Having worked for a leading hospitality chain for 4 years, Jessica developed strong customer service skills through her constant need to chat. Jessica wanted a career where she could incorporate her love for people and sales and so decided to embark on a career in recruitment.
Originally from Liverpool, in her free time she enjoys visiting her family and friends back home; alongside frequent trips to theme parks all around the country.

Imogen graduated from Kingston University in 2015 with a degree in Photography. Following her degree she commenced her sales career in high end retail, selling some of the finest Champagne and Cognacs in the world. Having achieved success in the dizzy heights of London she decided to return to the North West to re-establish her roots and embark on a career in recruitment. Her passion for sales lies with interacting with people and building relationships, perfect for a successful recruitment career! Outside of work, camera in tow she loves taking photographs of anything that catches her eye and enjoys musical theatre. She regularly takes in a show or two when visiting friends in London, but is relegated to only singing in the shower!

Matt graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2014 in Business and Politics. He quickly learnt that a career in politics wasn’t for him and took his first step into the world of recruitment, working as an administrator. After time working in admin, sales and management, he found himself back in the industry where he started, only this time as a consultant. Matt heads up the Professional Services and Operational Support desk in Manchester, covering the North West of England. Outside of work Matt likes to spend time with friends, watching everyone’s favourite Premier League underdogs, Everton, and attempting not to fall of his mountain bike!

Brendan is the youngest member of the Gibson Hollyhomes team in Leeds, joining only a few weeks after completing his final university assignment in June 2017. Having secured an internship in Recruitment in his final year of study Brendan knew it was what he wanted to do as a career and was snapped up quickly by Sally, Managing Consultant in Leeds. Outside of work Brendan enjoys playing Rugby and when he’s not on the pitch, he’ll be watching it somewhere in Leeds, no doubt with a pint in his hand.

After graduating with a degree in Genetics from Cardiff University and a childhood spent in the Welsh Valleys Llinos decided to leave the microscopes and experiments behind her in favour of a job where she could utilise her passion for people.
Securing a job in retail allowed her not only to relocate to Manchester where she found the exciting City lifestyle that she’d dreamed of, but to expand her wardrobe! After a year of retail sales success she realised her passion for people and sales could be out to better use so embarked on a career with Gibson Hollyhomes.
Outside of work Llinos is an aspiring Bake off Champion and TV fanatic. She loves going home to Wales to the land of Song and Sheep whenever she can, especially to catch the Six Nations in a proper Welsh pub!
