My client have a well-established business that is a national household name.  They are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their Head office in Wakefield on a temp-perm basis.

This is a busy payroll department which will need you to be diligent, motivated and resilient to get the job done.

Duties of a Payroll Administrator include;

  • Having a good knowledge of the end-end payroll process
  • Calculating pro rata salaries, holiday pay and pension contributions
  • Closing payroll at year end and producing P60’s
  • PAYE tax
  • National insurance
  • Issuing payslips
  • Auto enrolment
  • Attachment of earnings
  • Being compliant with all regulatory and environmental requirements
  • Dealing with payroll queries from customers and staff

As a Payroll Administrator you will have the following experience;

  • Sage Payroll
  • Excel
  • Word
  • Iris doc/pm
  • HMRC Basic Tools
