My client is a growing commercial insurance broker providing specialist insurance products to a range of businesses. They currently have a team of 6x and are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Professional to join as part of their plans to expand. The position is an immediate temp to perm role offering suitable candidates the chance to gain a real feel for the role and company. You will work in the specialist landlord and small business insurance team providing packages from some of the largest UK Insurers to customers UK wide.
Key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Providing new customers with quotations in order to generate sales opportunities
- Manage each individual customer account from start to finish
- Dealing with key decision makers
- Developing new relationships and building a client portfolio
- Building a client pipeline and closing sales
- Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly targets set
- Working closely with the underwriting teams
- Using influencing and negotiation skills where required to ensure the best policy and conditions are achieved for customers every time
As a permanent position the salary would offer a £19,000 basic with the opportunity to earn commission approximately £800-£900 per month for achievement of realistic targets.
