Accounts Assistant – City Centre

Manchester City Centre
£9.50 - £10.50 per hour

Our client is a city centre organisation who are seeking an experienced accounts assistant to commence in an immediate temp  role on an ongoing basis.  Please find below a list of the key duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Input and Process Purchase Invoices
  • Sending out weekly statements to customers and chasing outstanding debt
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Updating Internal Spreadsheets
  • Allocating bank payments
  • Post bank statement credits/debits in Sage
  • Undertake intercompany reconciliations and Journals
  • Taking credit card payments
  • General account queries via email/telephone
  • Vat return preparation
  • Managing the reconciliation of income
  • Sage 50 experience

 

Suitable candidates must have experience with all aspect of VAT in particular along with Sage 50
