The Client

Our client based within the insurance sector are looking for a customer service advisor to join their busy claims team due to growth within the team. In this role you will be responsible for Dealing with non-technical claims and general enquiries received from customers, dealerships and end users primarily by telephone or email. Providing a consistently superior customer experience at all times by meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations

Duties

To ensure all telephone claims are processed proactively and efficiently within the limits of authority and in line with company policy

To ensure clients are informed of the status of the claim

To respond to all customer enquiries, which may be received by various channels, within the limits of authority and in line with company policy and the terms and condition of the product

Escalating customer issues to management where necessary

To process all telephone registrations within company standards & Ensure all registration amendments are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Dealing with all manner of customer enquiries including, but not limited to, cancellations, registrations, finance enquiries & policy amendments

Ensuring that sufficient notes, of a suitable quality, are recorded on the core policy system after every call or action

Ensuring that the complaints procedure is followed where a complaint is made, including the issuing of verbal final responses

Skills & Attributes

Previous customer service experience

Effective communication skills, both verbal & written

Effective problem solving skills

Adaptable, flexible, and willing and able to learn new skills

Good emotional intelligence (maintains a positive outlook, is open to ideas, and engages others. Relates well to all people, listens, demonstrates diplomacy and tact and builds constructive and effective relationships)
