Job Description for a Property Manager
- Maintaining and developing landlord and tenant relationships
- Addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy
- Working with management to ensure our practices remain compliant
- Preparing legal documents including tenancy agreements and notices, and issuing for signature
- Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values
- Auditing property files and adverts for remarketing purposes
- Reviewing inventories and checkout reports, negotiating deductions and refunding balances in a timely manner.
- Managing tenant deposits
- Managing change of tenancy requests in line with industry guidelines
Job skills required for a Property Manager
- At least one year within property management is required.
- Knowledge of the Manchester property market is highly desirable
- Effective communicator
- Highly organised with good time management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
- Self-motivated and career driven
- Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be a driver and have own car
