My client is an exciting family run business who are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join the team and help drive the business forward. This role would suit an individual with previous experience working within Purchasing or Stock Control. This is an exciting opportunity to have full autonomy in standalone position which you can make your own.
As a Purchasing Manager your duties will include:
- Overseeing purchasing of products
- Ensuring stock levels are optimum at all times
- Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers
- Generating and monitoring forecasts
- Generating and running reports for the wider team
- Handling all administration work in relation to stock orders
As a Purchasing Manager you will have the following skills:
- Previous experience working in Purchasing or Stock Control is essential
- Previous experience forecasting goods would be ideal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly proficient on Microsoft Office, including Excel
