Billing Assistant

My client is a Top tier Legal 500 firm in Birmingham and are looking to take on an experienced Billing assistant to provide support to the Billing team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the billing team to ensure they provide an effective and comprehensive e-billing service.
  • Deal with a variety of internal and external e-billing queries.
  • Assist with the implementation of changes to e-billing systems.
  • Work in line with internal policies and compliance rules.
  • Communicate with other departments such as the Finance team to resolve billing issues or queries.

Requirements

  • Hold experience in dealing with legal accounting systems and billing platforms.
  • Ideally from a legal or finance background and have experience in e-billing.
  • Be proactive and motivated within the workplace.
  • Hold a working knowledge of VAT Regulations.
  • Hold strong organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Be a strong communicator and be confident in dealing with external stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Hold a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy across all work you do.

Salary is up to £25,000 dependent upon experience
