Legal Secretary- Banking and Finance

My client is a Top tier Legal 500 firm in Birmingham and are looking to take on an experienced Legal Secretary to provide support to fee earners in their Banking and Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective secretarial and administration to fee earners and legal advisors
  • Effectively manage fee earners’ diaries, making them aware of upcoming meetings and any possible clashes
  • Audio typing using Bighand
  • Booking and arranging meetings and travel
  • Drafting bills
  • Accurately typing correspondence
  • Opening and maintaining client files

 

Requirements

  • Ideally from a legal or corporate background
  • Hold significant experience in providing secretarial support to fee earners
  • Hold strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and hold strong team-working skills
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Office and Case Management systems
  • Hold strong time-management skills and an ability to work towards deadlines
  • Hold strong audio typing and general administration skills

 

Salary is up to £27,000 dependent upon experience
