I am currently recruiting for an excellent Accounts services based company in South Manchester. The role is to work in their internal finance team as a Purchase Ledger Executive. The role will suit bright, enthusiastic finance related graduates who are keen to develop a career within accounts.

The role will also incorporate study towards ACCA or CIMA based on preference.

Key responsibilities:

  • Adhering to current purchasing / authorisation policies and procedures
  • Creating / raising Purchase Orders
  • Coding Invoices
  • Liaising with manager regarding coding of invoices
  • Maintaining a log of invoices received
  • Matching delivery notes to purchase orders and invoices, requesting proof of delivery where necessary.
  • Making BACS payments
  • General accounts office administration
  • Assisting other areas of the department when required

In addition to Purchase Ledger the role will also involve other elements of finance due to the nature of the team, so you must be prepared to be flexible.

The salary for the role is £17,000, plus bonus, with the addition of study support.
