My client are a Leading Global Marketing and Communications provider based in South Manchester. They have a combined turnover of £160M with 750+ employees and offices across the globe. They’re looking to hire a Part Time Payroll Administrator, 30 hours per week to work alongside the Payroll Manager, responsible for running two Payrolls

Key responsibilities:

  • Control holiday system and ensure records are maintained accurately
  • Ensure payments are processed in line with payment dates
  • Resolve attendance issues
  • Control payment schedules relating to Employees, HMRC and Pensions
  • Maintain payroll reports
  • Produce month and year end HMRC reports
  • Assist HR in reconciliations of the payroll related balance sheets
  • Assist Manager to ensuring the department complies with legislation on Tax, NI, SMP, SSP
  • Calculation of statutory deductions on an ad-hoc basis; PAYE tax, national insurance, pension deductions, sickness and parental leave payments

Basic Requirements:


  • Must be familiar with MS office systems
  • Strong excel experience – ideally with Pivot tables and V-look ups


This role is a Part Time role up to 30hrs per week, with a competitive base salary of £23,000 pro rata, plus benefits
