Offices across the North
My client are a Government backed transport body, formed to transform the transport system across the North of England. They currently have office across Manchester and Leeds and have over 100 employees across both offices.
They’re looking to hire a Finance Officer, to join the Finance and Risk team of 7 in the Manchester office and directly support the Financial Controller, whilst also assisting the Procurement Manager.
|The ideal candidate will support the provision of effective financial management and reporting service to through the implementation and delivery of the financial accounting processes.
In addition, the appointed candidate will utilise their technical knowledge in a specialist area to resolve procedural queries from across the organisation.
The key accountabilities will see the successful candidate complete complex technical activities, designing and developing material and providing information for use by both internal and external partners to ensure they are well equipped and informed.

Ideally you will be a part qualified / recently qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualifications within the Public Sector. The salary for this is looking to pay £30,000 base plus excellent benefits, including a very generous pension scheme and access to various salary sacrifice benefits, including a Travel Pass purchase scheme.
