My client is a renowned law firm based in Birmingham City Centre. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This is a great role for someone who has Credit Control experience from a legal or professional services background.


  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients via letters and phone to ensure prompt cash collection
  • Managing and reviewing all sales ledger
  • Liaising with Partners to help with outstanding debt and help resolve outstanding queries
  • Working toward cash collection targets and keeping accurate records on all debt chasing
  • Client billing
  • Assisting Finance Managers regarding divisional debt
  • Inform fee earners of any changes to clients’ status
  • Working closely with team leaders to escalate and resolve any potential issues regarding client debt


  • Previous experience as a Credit Controller within a legal or professional services company is essential
  • Hold a strong Educational background
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Hold strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Work well in a fast-paced team driven environment


Full time hours. Salary is £20,000-£24,000 per annum
