My client are a Leading Global Communications provider based in South Manchester. They have a combined turnover of £130M with +700 employees and offices across the globe. They’re looking to hire a Credit Controller to join a team of three in Credit Control and report into the Credit Control Manager in a busy Finance Department of 15.

Key Responsibilities


  • Credit Checks and setting up new account on several systems
  • Posting and allocating cash
  • Proactive chasing and predicting expected cash receipts
  • Leasing with customers and internal Account Management Teams to resolve invoice queries
  • Statements
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information
  • Assisting with month end to deliver a timely period close


Key skills


  • Previous credit control experience preferable
  • Work as part of a team of 3 to meet month end deadlines and KPI’s
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel
  • Sage 200 experience desirable
  • Ability to multi task
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills
  • Willing to go that “extra mile”
  • Pro-active approach
  • Able to work unsupervised using own initiative


The salary for the role is up to £22,000 base + benefits and career progression.
